Clay Allen

Clay Allen is a fifth-generation Houstonian with deep roots in the city’s legal and professional communities. Known for his dedication to client advocacy, Clay has been nationally recognized for his work and regularly speaks to attorneys and law students on the topic.
Clay studied at Trinity University in San Antonio, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in International Studies. Following graduation, Clay began a six-year career with the Houston Rockets, initially as a part-time Marketing Associate and later becoming the head of special events and promotions for the team. While with the Rockets, Clay felt compelled to make a career change and decided to enroll in law school.
Clay earned his J.D., cum laude, from Baylor Law School and served as Technical Editor for the Baylor Law Review. He joined the firm over 15 years ago as a summer intern and later went on to work at Locke Lord LLP in Houston. As a truck accident attorney in Texas, he brings decades of legal and leadership experience to The Doan Law Firm.
An avid sports fan, Clay enjoys playing volleyball and pickleball in his free time. He also enjoys running and hopes to one day complete the Walt Disney World Marathon in Orlando. Clay’s dynamic career and personal interests reflect his commitment to excellence, both professionally and personally.
